A Mindful Outdoor Experience is a different way of being outside. More a saunter, than a hike or exercise, we move slowly…focused on “here” not “there”. Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin Yoku or Forest Bathing, this guided experience leads you through a series of sensory invitations between you and the natural or More Than Human World. This sort of mindful time in nature brings a host of physical and mental health benefits, including measureable reduction in the stress hormone cortisol, reduced anxiety, improved mood, focus and sleep.  As we connect with nature in this way, we often find awe and wonder, and a feeling of reciprocity with the More Than Human World.
