Your Health and Wellness Matter

Many of us are in overdrive filtering endless information streams, reacting to near constant alerts or posts from our phones and tablets, navigating through a 24-hour news cycle. Forest Bathing helps reconnect humans with the outdoor world to which we are naturally adapted. even after small periods of time in the forest, nature exposure reduces levels of the stress hormone cortisol and lowers blood pressure and heart rate. Trees release phytoncides into the air which boost our immune system and mood. We are healthier and happier when we are outside.

Live With Passion & Purpose

Mindful connection with nature is crucial for cultivating a balanced, inspired and fulfilled life.

  • For your body; Release stress, breathe fresh air, and get moving.

  • For your mind: Settle your awareness on nature’s soothing atmosphere.

  • For you spirit: Venture into the wood to gain inspiration from the living earth.

I founded Mind The Forest to bring to others my passion and belief that connection to nature is essential for our wellbeing. At a time when the average American is estimated to spend 93% of their time indoors or in automobiles, mindful time in nature can help counterbalance the stresses of modern life. The natural environment is part of us - it's where we evolved - so it is not surprising that we need such connection for our health and well-being.  Certified by the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT) and the Kripalu School of Outdoor Mindful Leadership, I combine Forest Bathing and Mindfulness to guide outdoor experiences that expand our present-moment awareness to open us to nature's healing properties.
