Forest Bathing at Manitoga

  • Manitoga - Russel Wright Design Center 584 New York 9D Garrision, NY, 10524 United States (map)

Manitoga - In the Landscape
Join Mindful Outdoor Nature Guide Jane Dobson in the Japanese practice of Forest Bathing. Unlike a typical walk in the woods, Forest Bathing is slower and more deliberate, allowing our bodies and minds to reset in the natural environment we evolved from. Forest Bathing began as a preventative healthcare practice to counter the stress of everyday life. Nature exposure lowers blood pressure and heart rate, reduces stress, and boosts our immune system and mood. Beyond its health benefits, Forest Bathing allows us to reconnect with nature, oneself and others. Space is limited, reservations required through https://www.visitmanitoga.org/tours. Fee is $30 per person. Held rain or shine. Children (including infants) must be at least 12 years old to attend.
